As of January 2024, I only move forward with first-time creative partners with a written agreement in place signed by both parties.

HOURLY RATE

$55.00

I bill by the hour for my creative freelancing in the majority of cases, especially those cases in which the work is smaller scale or my involvement is limited in scope.

Consulting, copywriting, content creation, and writing feedback will generally fall under the hourly category. Hours will be discussed and agreed to ahead of time. Travel expenses may be rolled into hourly rate if appearing in-person.

DAY RATE

$500.00

"Day Rate" in this case is defined as my giving exclusive commitment to a given project or workshop on the date, not to exceed 10 active hours. My Day Rate applies in situations including but not limited to on-set film work, teaching an on-site full-day workshop, and public speaking engagements.

Day Rate may or may not be combined with additional fees subject to travel and preparation involved, which is to be discussed and agreed to ahead of time.

Creative projects can be hard to calculate how much time really goes in. Billable hours rack up pretty quickly and if you don't already have money behind you, it can seem impossible to get quality creatives to work with you—I empathize.
